ABOUT ME

Patrick Thomas Webb was born in Bristol, Indiana. He grew up in the Goshen, Indiana area, and considers Goshen his hometown.

His inspiration to write came from his childhood favorite, Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends, and a fan made video found on YouTube. Deciding then that he could also write a story, Patrick began his path as a writer.

Patrick is a 2021 Graduate from Goshen College. During his time at GC he served on several on campus positions, such as an editor/board member of the Pinchpenny Press and Broadside boards.

The Pinchpenny Press is GC's English Department’s publication label. In his role as a board member, Patrick helped classmates polish their manuscripts with editing and providing feedback.

Patrick volunteered in a similar role with the Broadside Board, which focuses mostly on poetry printed on single sheets of fancy paper and the Red Cents magazine, published yearly.

Patrick also worked for The Record, Goshen College's award winning student run newspaper. He moved his way up from contributing writer to editor and in his senior year, Copy Desk Chief.

In his spare time Patrick worked with the Campus Activity Council (CAC), a student event organization board who assisted in boosting campus moral and community. He also worked as a writing tutor with the Academic Success Center.

When not busy, Patrick writes for his blog, Conductor Pat's Perspective.

Writing Passions

Patrick’s main passions as a writer evolve around fiction. He writes on a variety of topics, including Science Fiction, Superheroes, and some dabbling in Urban Fantasy.

Senior Project

Patrick published his senior project, Lady Luck and the Monorail Conspiracy, in the Spring of 2021, as part of his graduation process. The 80+ page novella is a reimagining/reinvention of a golden age superhero named Lady Luck. For more information on his senior project, check out the Lady Luck page under the Fiction header.
